Calendula Flowers represent the sun and its passage through the wheel of the year. They play a part in all festival rites particularly the solstices and equinoxes to honor the sun.
Use in incenses and as a bathing herb or through in a bonfire. The petal can be boiled to extract a yellow dye for robes used in sun rituals
Add to water, infused in oil and added to incenses. Used in rituals of divination or in the consecration of divinatory tools.
Infuse the flowers in a good vegetable oil preferably sunflower oil for 3 weeks to make calendula oil for annointing.
